Secret Passages

I have played this game almost from the beginning. Nothing has changed over the many months. When Epoch Grove opened, there were promises that building were going to become available in an upcoming update. I keep finding buildings in a locked region messages too.
I have over 125 million coins and nothing to spend them on.
Are the updates done, or will there be something new to keep my interest?
