Great game - I would like a few changes

I love this game. It is very addictive. The graphics are beautiful, and I have discovered, through this game, some great places I didnt know existed on Earth. This said, some things take immense effort for almost no reward (getting the 200 items one needs to get a shovel smith anvil takes months - it should give at least 10 shovels a day, not 1, considering how many shovels it takes to fix any of the buildings). Also, I am at a point where I have no use for gold coins and moonstones but keep earning some. It would be great to be able to trade them for shovels and rubies...
For some contests, only 2 shovels as a reward for attaining some really difficult goal is also a let down... Yet, this is still a really good game!
